From the Artist:  When I needed an interesting portrait for the gallery window, my brother Kim came to my rescue again. I posed him by a window and opened the shutters just enough to let a little blue daylight illuminate one side of his face. I positioned a bright spotlight on the opposite side. He sat patiently while I stroked, dabbed, rubbed, and scratched the canvas until I reached the desired effect. After about three hours and feeling finished, I asked him to come around to the front of the canvas and take a look. Upon seeing his painted Visage, he said…“hmm..blues mongrel”
