Noble Beast

From the Artist:  This prehistoric beast is roaming the Sonoran desert startling those that round the bend or pop out from behind a Palo verde tree and come face to face with this desert lord. Maybe there was a rancher that owned it at some point in time but it is it's own master at this point. It has the markings and characteristics of a Texas Longhorn but who really knows the origin of this incredible specimen. My son in law, Trent, does some extreme mountain biking, powering himself over rock and navigating cactus. He came across the beast one day and was able to take a photo that I used to paint this sketch.
