Jesus used Simon-Peter's boat to speak to a pressing seashore crowd. After speaking he told Simon to go out into deeper waters and cast his net. Simon said that they had already been fishing all night without any luck but... ok. They caught so many fish that it filled James' and John's boat too.

Jesus then said "come follow me and I will make you fishers of men" ... and that's how he rolled.
